Ooh, first board with a Modfactor?

Love your laissez-faire approach to cabling BTW!

Thanks K, I have a feeling I'll be moving around pedals so I left slack in the George L's... plus since the board will be to the side of the stage and I won't actually be stomping the switches (the cables lead to two GRX4 routers under the Eventides) the cabling is less important....

well I've decided I'm going to reroute my board for a few simple pedals to make a 'live board'... wanting a noise box to add then I'll rip it all apart and start again,... wondering how I could go with tuner, wah, noisebox, distortion / fuzz and delay... COULD use my ps3 as a delay and pitch shifter when necessary hmmm
ps-3 is my most favourite pedal but it has sooo many good things packed into it im forever playing with settings!!!

but in a metal band im only really using distortion, the rest are going to be for a 'noisy interlude' in the set once I make something up properly!

hopefully once the noise box comes in can add pics of the new arrangement!!!

Does anyone know a good Compressor for active basses?

I play slap sometimes and I'd like a compressor to really draw out that E and A and even out my tone.
I'd like it in stompbox form, if that's okay.

for almost every review you could possibly want

I use an EBS Multicomp & it works great with active instruments (even on the "passive" setting). It also lets you set the low & high band thresholds separately in multi-band mode; so if you properly set it up, you can emphasize the lower notes while compressing the highs a little more...
