You could always sell the tuner and use the one on the Zoom if you need to!
I would, but in order to mute on the zoom I would have to hold down both buttons on it for a couple of seconds
I am not that coordinated on the best of days
I had been using half a top from a rubbermaid container as a pedalboard and I decided that it was time to actually build one. It only cost me $15 for everything complete with hinges and velcro, but here it is and with and with out my pedals on it, and then a dark shot of the pedals

How do you rate that zoom?
My band has just got a new guitarist, He's the king of effects, he has everything you could think of, twice. hence his saying... "Wheres your back up you muppet!"
He's played guitar for a few well known people, and he has just been sent one of these zoom pedals for guitar, and the overdrives and delays n' that on it sound just as good as the best pedals money can buy!
Hope the bass version is just as good as the guitar one! i shall be getting it!
I have the version above that one, the B2.1u and I can tell you that it has some really great sounds on it. And switches faster than any multi-effects I ever heard.
Like most though, 90% of the presets are garbage, but if you learn to program your own, there's some fantastic sounds to grab out of it.

IMHO, the Zoom B2 amp models are really good, the fuzz/distortions are not, the rest of the effects are good except for the synth and octaver which track with a noticeable delay behind your bass signal. I hated the compressor too. Great as a practice tool with the headphone output, drum machine and tuner... pain to use live as you have to enter difficult to use menus to tweak the EQ etc.
Those are the bits I would be using it for...thanks! One last question, and apologies for veering - does it sound overly digital?
Having had a fair amount of single effects and a couple of the line6 PODs in my day, I actually rate it pretty good for the cost.
+1. Makes the POD look like a sloth in comparison. No "hiccup" at all IME
+2. I wish it had a software editor, but I can live without it.
To me it sounds good. The distortions dont really "evenly" break up, but there are enough different gain models to cover the "inbetweens" IMHO.
Plus you can blend any of the amp/drives with you clean signal, and it has a 2, 4, or 6 band EQ. Basically there are 2 EQs, high and low, and each can be either a 3 band (1 shelving, 2 peak) or a parametric shelving. So you can have a 2, 4, or 6 band thing going on.
Between just the drives and EQ im sure you can emulate most amp situations. Theres also some cabinet modeling, but AFAICT it just smooths out the top end sorta thing. Sorta crude, but at least each "cabinet" sounds different
