Grit maker. I thought I told you this already! It boosts the volume ever so slightly but adds that grit on top of the boosted clean...pretty nice tone (with a new pair of strings on the rick)
Must have missed it. But you can get grit out of it that low (of gain setting)? Those Rics must have a higher output than my p bass and such. I have mine set for high grit/warm drive, but I have the gain quite a bit higher.
Here's my first try on that synth solo in Knights of Cydonia...it's not accurate at all since it's nighttime and I'm switching the headphones into different inputs to try and get the timing right...
I hear a little fuzz in the solo so I'm using the fuzz setting in the Eventide...there's like 5 filter,fuzz,glitch, and all settings to choose from

Yep, Hysteria combo. Gotta work out the kinks but it's passable.

Ohh, I had a great idea...
It seems in the synth...it's doing a lowpass filter and fuzz....So I should probably either do something like...
1)Use the fuzz in the eventide preset and then use the Prometheus to make a low pass filter cutoff effect
or
2) use the filter in the eventide preset and then use a fuzz or distortion(Gemini..) for the fizz effect.

My favorite of any of your boards so far.
I suppose. But it isn't the same as when when you started out with the Tool board. That might be your "Muse" board, but (and a Muse fan can correct me if I'm wrong here) that board doesn't have a single pedal in common with Wolstenholme's. You're trying to match his tones, but it isn't like that board couldn't be used for completely different tones too.

I assume it's Behringer's take on the TU-2. And as I've said before, Behringer pedals sound like what they're cloning (Boss, EHX, Tech 21) my question has always been reliability. But I imagine those concerns are overblown as well.
Well, I did crack the hell out of the display somehow, but some crazy glue and I was off and tuning again.
In practice it's really accurate. If I were still touring I'd be worried about it surviving load ins/outs but it can handle weekly practice and the few gigs I play every month.

I really enjoy the names you give your GGG/ BYOC stuff. The Narwhal is perfect for the slow gear clone.
Thanks! That's really half the fun.
I'm planning on doing a full review of the Narwhal with clips soon, as there seems to be almost no info on TB about them.
