how do you like the GI fuzz?

I REALLY like the GI Fuzz. I tried my guitarist's a while ago and immediately started selling my other main board fuzzes at the time: The Electronix MessDrive and Subdecay Flying Tomato. It can really rip your head off, do some cool glithy gated stuff, hard gated stuff, get really really nasty if you want it to, but it can also so a light fuzz. The texture of this lighter fuzz is a little harsh as far as light fuzz is concerned, but then that's what I have the BlowTorch and Gemini Drive for to approximate when I need.

Bingo. Is there some unwritten rule around here that says you can't pictures of things with your mac when you can't find your camera? Sheesh. Looks like I'm slumming it at TB

It's not the mac thing so much as the reversed image thing. No worries though,...I can horizontal flip your image in irfanview and see your pedalboard in all it's rightful glory. :D

Another Irfanview user here! Great little app.

I use it all the time at work for quick image resizing, cropping etc.

I also used it to edit this image of my board. Of course, since I'm busting it up to build two separate boards I thought it was worth posting again. This iteration never even got wired up properly. I had it setup in a mess of wires all over my floor, but never a real setup.

i'm VERY close to "complete" - much closer than i've been in some time. somebody donate me an octaver and i'll have a pic up this week

and dude, you've SEEN my board... though it's almost completely different now...

Pretty solid board!... well with an octaver it will be anyway.:smug: The Huckleberry is a pretty damn good sounding fuzz. Great texture to it, not too harsh.. if I had a use for such a thing it would definitely be a consideration.

nobody is gonna have their mind blown by my board - it is more practical than it is exotic

since my tube head got back from the shop i've been more of an amp man...

I love that board.

Great choice of pedals.

I've been wanting to ask this for ages:

Are all the big XO pedals the same size? The SMMWH and the BMS and the POG2 etc? I can't seem to find any dimensions for any.

Great board man, does it come apart so you can get at the underside? I might build mine like that

And I haven't had sex on my board, but I have had sex on my amp, is this gonna turn into a very tasteless competiton?

No but that would have been a good idea. i can get under it easily enough anyway, there's lots of room for cables, a roast dinner and a midget so accessing the things i need to is pretty easy.

Basslyon, I love your entire set up. Its almost perfection.

But.. I once caught these two beetle things gettin freeeky on my pedalboard, so you might lose your stand. :D

Cheers mate, I'm quite proud of it

AND BEATLES DON'T COUNT COS THEY AREN'T TALKBASS MEMBERS

You know the talkbass rules - no picture, no...oh, wait.

I don't have pics or such acts, there may or may not be a video evidence but the bed is unrecognisable in its current state so i won't post that.

Dislaimer: If someone finds that offensive for any reason please pm me and i'll alter it but it is only meant as a joke.

I have this mental image of someone schlepping their board(s) into a 4-for-a-dollar photo booth in the mall and holding it/them up so they're in the pic...

I now have that mental image too. :D

Only in my mental image said pedalboard does not have the pedals properly velcroed down. 1st picture you actually see a pedal falling down, last picture see only one pedal sticking on it and the person desperately holding a Dunlop wah and powersupply with one hand against the board.

I really shouldn't be drinking when I have the flu. :hmm:
