Post Your Pedalboards: First Blood, Part V

Here's an update from me:

Bass-->Ashdown Bass Drive Plus-->FX30B Gate/Loop-->Hartke HA3500-->Digitech RDS 3.6(in FX Loop)-->Peavey 1820

In the Loop of the FX 30B: Boss DF-2 Super Distortion and Feedbacker--> EBS Octabass-->Copilot FX Antenna 2--> Devi Ever AR SM--> Ashdown Env Filter--> Boss PS-3 Pitch Shifter/Delay

New are the Octabass, DF-2, and Antenna.

I love the DF-2, its distortion is slightly better than the DS-1 (similar but less buzzy), and the feedbacker function is fun to play with.

Octabass lived up to the hype for me, but didn't surpass it. I use the "high" mode.

See my review of the Antenna 2 in the thread on that.

The space is for my 4ms Trem Lune whose box I just cannot find the time to paint. Dammit!

I finaly got a real pedal board I can show.
It's almost done! I want to change the compressor and I will add a BDDI in a near future.
If I don't have enough place I will just put the volume pedal on the side of the pedal board, it's so heavy it doesn't move and I don't need to power it.

Any tips to make it cleaner?

If you want to make it look cleaner, you might wanna consider the pedaltrains? Allows you to throw the cables down under the board, and some shorter patch-cables.

it's a birdsong Bbox. It's a passive tone control for guitar and bass.
Since I don't have any control on my Lecompte it is very handy to have a tone control somewhere!!

Thanks for the comments guys, I will look for shorter cable, I might make mine. How are the george L cable?

George L's and Planet Waves Cable Station kits are the two most popular kits among TB bassists for custom wiring, period. :smug:

We've got lots of threads about them if you want to read more. The beauty of them is that they're both solderless and easy to assemble with just a wire cutter and a screwdriver.

only reason I don't own a set

ok well my last pedal board had a Boss ODB-3, and old ibanez flanger, a Digitech Comp, Dunlop 105Q (the cool white one), and a Dunlop highgain volume pedal. i can't honestly tell you how i had the signal flow routed because i was constanly changing the chain. lots of sounds/ tone.

and now for my current Pedal board...

i do occasionally add the ODB-3 for some grit. the funny thing is, i only use effects on my EUB.
