I don't seem to have any pics of my birds with a bass. Will a 12 string acoustic do?

However, here's a couple of my residents.

Short for Frederica ? Does she have a complex being called FRED or is she also a Tony Williams Lifetime / Allan Holdsworth fan ?View attachment 3923822
My buddy Fred. She’s been with me 27 years.
Most of my macaws are bobbers and dancers too, R&B fans, and want to groove. The amazons are great singers, and several of them do operatic arias. The cockatoos are headbangers. Conures seem to dig Norteno. How cool!
Fred, my scarlet macaw pictured earlier bobs her head and “dances” when I play.
Crystal. My Blue Front Amazon pictured here, whose been with me 28 years, “sings” along when I play. She’s in tune and anticipates the changes, too!View attachment 3923929
This is amazing. Have they done studies on parrots (is that an umbrella term for all ?) and their emotional reaction to music ? I don't even know if the great apes like music. I think elephants do. I bet you have some good stories. Most of my macaws are bobbers and dancers too, R&B fans, and want to groove. The amazons are great singers, and several of them do operatic arias. I got her as a baby and finished hand feeding her. Tried various names like Fiesta and Rainbow suited to her appearance. She had no response to them. I called her Fred one day and she instantly looked up at me. Continued trying various names over the next day or two and she only responded to Fred, so she picked it.Short for Frederica ? I found out tonight that Tyson, my bass inspector Jack Russell has heart failure and I’ll more than likely have to put him to sleep in the upcoming few days. Please pray for me. This isn’t going to be easy for me. He was my ‘cushion’ for when my older Jack Russell’s were starting to pass away. He’s 14 and I figured I’d have him around at least 2 more years based on the ages of my other dogs when they passed.Tyson helping inspect basses on NBD's

The only study I've seen was about rhythm. Cockatoos scored way ahead of other parrot species...they are the drummers of the parrot world (cant play bass, cuz they have to move). This is amazing.
