I'll never make THAT mistake again! I had a trans teal SR5 that I purchased back in I think 99, stupidly sold it, and a few years later, bought another one (in blue dawn). I'm never selling my SR5! I've sold every other bass I've ever had, but I'm not ever selling this one.timidbassist said:I like all threeI am in the market for an SR5 anyone selling one?! haha

Is that a clear pickguard? Where does one acquire such a thing? I would love to put one on my SR5!

It's one called the Brush Copper if I'm not mistaking, It came with the Bass from the EB factory.
Just got this bass saturday. Has one of the nicest birdseye necks ive ever seen. Its a 92 and is butterscotch blonde.

Malabito, would love to see some pics of that fretless and if possible a review of its sound. I have a fretted SR5 with piezo and like it enough to think about a fretless companion. 
I picked up my Stingray 5 today. I didn't get to play it much but I know it's sweet, I played it in the store off and on for 15 months! 
I guess that's why the owner marked it down to get rid of me! It feels so good to have really top end bass again. The basses I had in the last year or so, the Tribute, USA Millennium and the SUB5 I had for a minute are all fine instruments, but for someone like me who had owned really beautiful looking and sounding basses in the past, I knew that what I had was step down from what I had owned in the past. I hate to sound snobbish, but once a person has developed taste for the finer things, it is bummer not to have them anymore. I sincerely hope that I have this bass twenty or thirty years from now. I'm a little older and I hope I'm a bit wiser and understand the value of a great sounding and beautiful bass.
