I don't own a Sting Ray 5 but i wish they had the oval pickgaurd like the 4's

I use to think the same thing, however i now really seem to like the SR5 pickguard.

Ya know !! I thought about that, but, this is supposed to be a rare prototype model that I've been advised against changing any of the characteristics from many a bass player.

I'm even later to the party, any beers left? And it looks like someone is wearing the same dress as me, oh well you can never have too many pictures of the CopperHead Bronze. EB/MM made a run of these special paint/pickguard combos for the winter 2004 NAMM show. I love it and will never change the pickguard unless it is a matter of preserving this one.
