Posts on TB

The internet in general is kind of a dumbed down space. Then you factor in the fact that what was interesting to you ten years ago is rehashed material today, and that the older we get the less we care about certain things, and it just seems like online interaction deteriorates. In truth, what happens is that what was once new, which is this online social experience, is old now. We get jaded. We expected more, or something. So we find it less interesting.

What?!! You mean two dozen posts each week on "tell me what fuzz pedal to buy" or "what color pickguard would look good on the brand-new bass I just purchased?" doesn't do it for ya? :roflmao:

Is it just me or is the caliber of posts on TB really been tanking? I’ve been a member since 2004 and I remember when there used to be really good and useful stuff. Now a good chunk of the posts are “my package isn’t arriving” or “why do people use the words that they do”.

I understand this post in itself is apart of what I’m talking about. However, the layover portion of my flight has led me to keeping myself digging through TB for hopes of entertainment.
