all of those refer to this years Ig-nobel Awards. Meet the winners of the 2023 Ig Nobel Prizes It got quite a bit of notoriety this year, I don't now why. I follow it because I'm a former performer. The "ceremony" used to be live a Sanders Theatre on Harvard campus, (an amazing old place of woodwork and statues, became filled with paper airplanes thrown by young scientists, both boys and women) now it's "virtual". NPR rebroadcasts it on Science Friday, the Friday after Thanksgiving. Speeches are one minute at which point a child says "Please stop, I'm bored".
