Power amp with preamp pedal.

Depending on the output, Wayne Jones Audio from down under has a 2X10 Powered cabinet that is nice.

I have decided to go with the new Orange Pedal Baby 100 with A/B power rating of 100 watts @ 8 Ohms and 70 watts @ 16 Ohms. I'll be using a single 8 Ohm Orange OBC115 cabinet.

It's not huge wattage, but could put another one with another OBC115 for 200 watts of A/B.

This is what it's designed to do...
 
Curious to hear your opinion of the Orange Pedal Baby as a bass power amp.

It worked very well. Orange has a nice unit there.

You could do worse, in a combo amp power range, or spend a great deal more, for a heavy tube amp in the 100 watt range, too.

I ran it with this Pedalboard set up:

That is a JohnK XOII...it has a phase switch on Hi Pass.

His distortion on this thing is one of the most solid Bass distortions that I have ever personally heard... :cigar:
