Quick FYI they have some cool Power amp modules that are 1000+ watts and sub 3 lbs.

The average US power outlet will only supply 15 or 20 amps.

Those amps draw 2300VA, which is about 230 amps.

That K4 looks like it would be nice, powerful, light an all amp.

A comparable QSC weighs 5.5 pounds less.

Yeah it's 1RU but weight is weight.

The LD-2004 seems pretty cool -- 2x1000W at 4ohm and it is $1736.
Not chump change, but for a 1 space power amp and decent power, a lot of people would go for that if they sound good.

I'd love to have a 2 space case with preamp and power amp that's compact and not overly heavy.

As long as the weight was less than 30 lbs, I wouldn't really care -- size matters, too.

I know a chap from a UK bass site who uses one in his bass rig- they are meant to be the proverbial bee's knees as far as power amps go. I believe (but don't quote me) that they also supply Class D modules for other amp manufacturers.

My Current Bass Power Amp is 26 Pounds 2RU puts out 2600 watts Bridged at 4 ohms and is $599.00

That's 18000W in bridged mode at 4 ohm in a 1 rack space form factor for the Digam K20.

With specs like that, they must be re-faceplated welders. Connect a 9V AM radio's earphone jack to the amp's input, tune in between stations, and set your stick current with the radio's volume thumbwheel.
