Power Supply Options for Small Board

I bought a 1Spot recently, and it was so noisy I took it back. Weird, 'cause everybody else seems to have good results with them. All I was powering with it was 3 BOSS pedals: TU-2, an OC-3, and an ODB-3. That's all. No matter where I plugged the 1Spot in, it hissed like an angry snake, even plugged into a studio's very clean power-conditioner/power center thingy. Maybe it was defective. I went back to batteries for now, but will try getting the BOSS supply for the TU-2, and then daisy chain the other two pedals off that.
