Powered PA speaker question

You might also look at the Yamaha dxr series. Invalid Link Removed I have a pair od dxr 10s
I have used them on gigs as mains, monitors and as a bass amp. I have did 3-4 gigs with just one of them along with a Sansamp programmable Bass DI for my bass rig where I wasn't even in the PA. It sounded great. These were low volume gigs. Not sure how it would sound with a guitar plugged directly in.

Thanks. I'll check them out. I definitely have zeroed in on the EV ZXL112P or the EV EXL112P and possibly the Line6 StageSource L3T. Hard to really get a sense of them as they are all special order for me.
Much appreciate all the people who've chimed in here!

Update: I found a used Line 6 L3T for a good price so I decided that since it's essentially a powered 2x10 with horn and is designed to integrate with the POD HD500 I have (as well as JTV variax) that this would be a good place to start, with an all-in-one solution. Next up if this doesn't workout is the less expensive, lighter weight, well-recommended EV ZLX112P or EXL112P.

Thanks everyone who chimed in this thread!

Reviving an old thread, I'm starting to look into the same thing here and when focusing in on the EV ZLX-12P my search brought me here. Any new recommendations or feedback on the available options would be great. I'm primarily a bassist but also play some electric guitar I'd love an all in one solution to be paired with my preamps
Thanks

RCF are excellent PA speakers (and built like a tank) that could be used for instruments and vocals. I am selling my EV's and keeping the RCF's.

I still have the L3T. I've since upgraded modeler but the L3T still abides and is doing well. As it's just a 2x10, it can't be expected to sound like a refrigerator, but it still puts out a lot of sound and goes pretty low at loud levels, without farting out. I love that it has so many connections as well, to accommodate mp3 player, line in/out, etc. I do wish it weighed less though!
