Double Bass Powering tuner from Amp

I'm wondering if I could somehow power my stomp-box tuner from my 2nd Acoustic Image's (mostly unused) channel. It has 47 volt phantom power at the XLR port, which would need to be converted to 9 volt...

Is there a off-the-self adapter for this?

(I've become obsessive about simplifying my rig and trying to stop using batteries...)

I *did* start there. No luck. If this exists, it's a specialty item.

Sorry, Thumpie; no offense intended. Too many folks here who don't know how to use search.

Typical phantom power is 48 Volts in series with a 6.8k Ohm resistor on each leg of the balanced line. If this is how the Acoustic Image is set up, then a 9 Volt Zener diode would produce 9 Volts directly off the balanced line. I'd confirm this with AI before experimenting further. However, it would be able to source at most 11 mA, which I am guessing is not enough to run a tuner.

I've built phantom powered preamps using this strategy, though I had to be quite frugal with my power budget.

The better thing to do is glare at the other players, as if they are the ones out of tune.
