Practice bass scale selection?

I'm about to order the BASSFISH, can anyone tell why I should not?
Any words on the neck?

I sorta prefer the full scale,
but figure I might just give up the full scale length for the body that allows it to fit onto my leg.
Without a strap.

if you have anything to talk me out of the BF please say it now.

Not sure about your price point - but for around $500, I bought a "Travel Bass" - it's a 32" scale neck, that is a good compromise. It actually has a built in headphone jack, so no amp is required. I see they know sell them at GC. I've had for about a year, and use it a lot. Plus, you can actually plug it into an amp and get a decent sound. Mine looks like a P bass. It also has an input jack for your MP3, so you can play along with tracks. It's super light, and small. Have taken it on airplanes, and fits no problem in the overhead bin. Good luck!
