Practice Rig

Whatup Guys,

I need some help...I use small amp (Behringer 1x12) that i take with me back and forth for practice almost daily. The amp alone is not loud enough to play with my band, but i use a Korg Pandora PX5D that really boosts the volume and makes it perfect for practice and small venues. Now the other day it all of a sudden stopped working...(replaced batteries, checked all my cables, everything). My amp alone still works, and my Korg Pandora still turns on but it just makes this fuzzy noise when plugged up together. So my question is what kind of effect or pedal could i use with my practice amp to really boost the volume so i can hear it with my band. A friend of mine recommended a Tech 21 SansAmp Bass Drive but they are $200 and im looking for something cheaper. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
JM

I would save up and get a Carvin MB10 or MB12 and you will have 200 watts and light weight. You will have plenty of volume for band practice. The weight of the MB10 is only 26 lbs.

I have a GenzBenz rig i use for our larger gigs, just dont feel like hauling that thing back and forth daily for practice. its my baby and i dont want to leave it where we practice at

Check. Back toSansAmp-type preamp options then, and there are a few:

- Used SansAmp
- Zoom multis (they have a good SansAmp sim)
- Behringer makes a SansAmp copy which is well received around here, the BDI21

I'm sure there are others, but these are the ones I could think of at this time.
