PREAMP BYPASS

You aren't going to have any phase issues switching between single sources.

But ground looping noise has ruined many a hook up this in that for fun experiment.

Good name for the Orange ABY. If you use it to hook up two amps, have a fire extinguisher on standby.
With all seriousness, what do you mean?
Is what I’m planning on doing thought to be unsafe?
I thought it was a normal application.

Check out the Fulltone as well.

OP - Search Michael Fuller (owner of Fulltone) on here and other gear forums if you are thinking about spending your money on his gear. There are many other companies named in this thread that make what you’re looking for, and they are much more respectable in terms of their customer support & how they do business.

Now you've piqued my interest. I've owned a bunch of their pedals, and freaky with customer service once with no complaints.

So far, I'm liking the Earthquaker Swiss Things as a be all end all, and never have to worry about getting another utility pedal to grow with.

On the other hand, the Radial Engineering Twin City looks like it ticks all the boxes for a minimalist option. The dilemma is that for not much more (+/- $80) the Swiss Things in the long run would probably end up saving money by eliminating the needs of noise gates, boosts etc.

Out of curiosity, I had to check into the Mesa site and see what they have to offer. Looks comparable to the Twin City and about +/- $80 more than the Swiss Things.
