Preamp decision.

"Consumer" was not our goal with the design of the MAGMA, if I can try and define this in some way. The MAGMA can actually work a clean bass amp as well. The MAGMA is primarily designed as a "distorted" preamp...thats the idea with it. Id like to extend its capability beyond that of one type of music as well.

We build gear that is likely catered towards stoner or doom rock yes, I will not deny that, but to simply state that is all we are capable of is cutting us short of a wider variety of music.

I will not rant about this and when the fellas receive their MAGMA's hopefully it will prove itself through the eyes of others beyond our own sound samples and "biased" opinion. It is certainly not a one trick pony but it may have limitations to the particular user for sure. At the end of the day, what we want is for peeps to find the maximum potential in any of our products. Whatever the scope of MONOLITH product capabilities its all just to bring ya'll some solid gear that withstands the test of time. Good luck choosing your preamp!
