Preamp issues...Need advice

:help: Allright guys, I'm getting a low hum out of my Ampeg SVP-Pro preamp. Obviously I realize its an electrical issue. I've tried to run through a power conditioner and grounding the amp, but it did not help. I can cut midrange and treble to prevent a hiss as well, but obviously I do not wish to affect my tone. How do I go about to reduce this? I love the sound it produces, just wish I didn't have the noise that comes with it. Thank you in advance for any help offered.

As one who has some series noise issues with an SVP-Pro, the problem is one of the tubes...... I ended up sending mine back to Ampeg. They retubed it and tweaked things $125 and now it is the best pre-amp I own. Take it to a good tech
