Precision Elite 1

Hiya, just after info about the Precision Elite 1 basses from 1983-5 (I think). Any ideas about how many were produced, whether spare parts are hard to come by, just general history of the elite series.
I have an elite 1 and can't find out much about it- apart from the fact that it's an awesome bass to play and record with.

Thanks for the link! I have an emerald green P Elite II. Love love LOVE that bass, but nowadays it spends most of its time on the wall. I've taken a liking to Fenders with jazz necks - P Special Deluxe, HM, Dimension. But, my Elite will always be my #1. I tell people all time, if you come across one and can afford it, GET IT!! Majorly underrated bass.
