The specs may say metallic orange sparkle, but the pic says "yaller." But I like the look of the bass anyway, and there are very few non-translucent bass finishes I do like.

It looks like Donald Trumpet's fake tan.
I don't care about flats or tort, but this mem sums up how I feel about my Precision basses. They just sound kind of meh. Some notes sound a bit muted, and most notes on the lower strings are really "woody" sounding as opposed to being nice and round. Something about that crappy tone just works, though, and I find my P basses being the basses that go to shows and rehearsals while my other, "better" basses sit at home.

The Flatorted Pees will be the name of my next band.
