Double Bass Preferred Vanhal Edition?

Which edition of the Vanhal is everyone playing these days? My teacher mentioned that he has the Doblinger edition in C Major, but neither of us could find it in print.

I've heard Duncan McTier has an edition out for orchestral tuning, which seems interesting. I'll likely be playing this piece in orchestral tuning for conservatory auditions and in solo tuning for a recital.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

C Major (D Major solo tuning), Hofmeister or Doblinger. It will say D Major of course. It is much easier than the E Major version and allows you to more easily simulate the Viennese tuning the piece was originally written in.

I'm using the Hofmeister edition in C major at the moment.

I was wondering though if anyone has the Gruber cadenzas for the Vanhal? They sound great on the Streicher recording, and I'd prefer to play those over the printed cadenzas in this edition.
