Best color for Metal is the Red Head and White Cab or black cab if you want to be predictable and boring. Personally Id go for the Gold head and the British racing green cab. I think the Green head is too teal and doesn't match the cab as well as the other colors. I have no experience with Aguilar though so just based on what looks cool I think I'm ok.
School me on the difference between the Tone Hammer and the AG. I've only been playing a year or so now and don't have alot of experience with different amps. I'm into vintage sounds and in my limited experience I throughly enjoy my Ampeg. I've been collecting basses now I'm thinking my next big purchase will be a bigger amp. Definitely interested in these. ThanksYea. I love all the blues and greens (8 of my basses are some shade of blue/green, haha!) but agree that this green doesn't seem like a good fit with the blue cabs and vice versa. However, for my uses I'm not going to buy any of the new cabs, and will only use one amp at a time. Either the blue or green will look great with my black Subways and black/silvery-gray GK cabs.
Of course, once you flick on an Aggie head those blue LEDs are so dang bright that it basically blinds everyone from seeing what the amp looks like anyway, haha!

Colors are nice but other than their new 10 cab and the AG pre Aggie has not had many new products
I guess you could say I’m a fan of the Aguilar colors throughout the years. While I certainly don’t need more, I’m tempted to add to my collection.

It’s easier to take bass cab collection pics. You just stack’em up and snap.So elegant! I think I like these pics over bass collection pics!

Would love to hear your thoughts on the SL115s compared to the other cabs. I’ve been looking into a pair.
Sounds like what I’m looking for. Warm, but not mushI’m a big fan of the SL115, and a pair is even better but it really depends on what kind of sound you’re after. I like a more old school, warmer tone typically. That being said, it has more articulation than you might expect for a 15.
Hey bro!If you go with a color that's not dark, consider Tuki style soft covers or road cases.
I've played with a lot of colored amps on stage, including beige, white, silver, and red Marshalls, and some can get pretty ugly fast gigging..
Hey bro!
May you please upload some pics about your light colored cabs? I have the SL 112 ivory color and recently I discovered some stains in the tolex but it never have been gigged outside my home. I think it was produced from the inner wood. What can I do to fight those ugly stains? Please some ideas….
