Pretty inspiring and courageous to come out of the closet as gay in a country where there is a bill in parliament to make homosexuality a death-penalty crime.

Wow, pretty awesome and very gutsy of them to march. Good on them.

I don't know why some people think homosexuality is aberrant in some way. Most of the animal kingdom engages in homosexuality, what makes humans any more different?

Yeppers. A good story to remember the next time you see someone protesting about how fascist/repressive/oppressive the United States is. The U.S. is not perfect, but it's the best deal going on this planet by far.

not necessarily for gay people. I love the US but I think there are many other countries farther along than us in regards to giving gay folks a fair shake..:hmm: But yes, I know what you mean for teh most part. It kind of puts chicken sandwiches into perspective!

oh really? I would like to know what kind of experience you have with other countries.

As for me - lots. Which is why I both absolutely love my country but also wish we were farther along in some other areas. It's kind of like non-Americans assuming to know everything about the US. You never really know a country or culture until you spend time living within that culture. That applies to every nation on earth really.
IMO, of course.
