Pride Parade in Uganda

As for me - lots. Which is why I both absolutely love my country but also wish we were farther along in some other areas. It's kind of like non-Americans assuming to know everything about the US. You never really know a country or culture until you spend time living within that culture. That applies to every nation on earth really. IMO, of course.

I'm still trying to understand New Jersey. :D

Yeppers. A good story to remember the next time you see someone protesting about how fascist/repressive/oppressive the United States is. The U.S. is not perfect, but it's the best deal going on this planet by far.

I'm happy with where I am too.

Though I wouldn't say there is a straight 'best' on this planet.

It comes down to the individual perspective.

Wow, pretty awesome and very gutsy of them to march. Good on them.

I don't know why some people think homosexuality is aberrant in some way. Most of the animal kingdom engages in homosexuality, what makes humans any more different?

because all cultures in one way or another believe in some sort of religion, IMO that counts for a lot of the crazy crap that goes on!

I'd like to visit Scotland. I've heard I need to work on my head-butting skills to travel there, is this true?:D

Not true. I've been to Scotland twice and didn't have to head-butt anybody. Scotland is stunningly beautiful in the spring. The photos and the videos just can't do it justice. However, you should remember this:

There's no such thing as bad weather in Scotland. There's only wrong clothes.

And this:

You won't have time to visit all of the distilleries.

And this:

If you wear a kilt, practically everyone will think you are a wanker.

Or you don't have the liver to visit them all.

There is only about 100-150 IIRC. The vast majority of which are in Speyside, not bad considering it's not exactly a massive population (not much to do in the hills you see).

True that. The OTT tourists tend to be easy to spot (no offense meant).
