Primus tonight.

I don't think they're actually going to be on the show, but they're playing on the building's outdoor stage. I guess they're supposed to start playing around 6:45

Kimmel's outdoor stage is where they tape performances for the show. Most often the taping from tonight will appear on air tomorrow night. Ive been to a few tapings there before, like when Matt Stone & Trey Parker where his guests, and again when Sonic Youth played a 45 minute set on the outdoor stage. You can get tickets to Kimmel tapings here: www.1iota.com

okay, I'm back! Well, the show was quite good. They played Pudding Time, Tommy the Cat, Those Damned Blue Collar Tweekers, Over the Electric Grapevine, and one other one (can't remember the name right now). I noticed that while Blue Collar Tweekers was playing, they were showing Salad Fingers on the screens behind them, which certainly increased the freakyness.

the show's going to air on the Jimmy Kimmel show next friday. I don't know how visible I was in the crowd, but look for a white kid with spikey hair and a Ziltoid the Omniscient shirt on.

oh, I stopped at Amoeba records on the way over there. Was able to find a nice Maurice Ravel CD, but that's irrelevant. On the way out, I noticed a line forming outside. Out of curiosity, I asked someone what was up, and learned that they were giving out free tickets to a secret Weezer concert next tuesday and 7:00. I promptly hopped in line, gave them my name and email, and they said they'd email me the location of the concert the day of.

personally I'm not a fan of Weezer, so if anybody wants some weezer tickets for tuesday, shoot me a PM and we can haggle.

The other song was Golden Boy.

I'm incredibly glad Jay is back in the band, it's just changed their whole dynamic and energy. I saw them last night in Sacramento for the first Oddity Faire show (I saw them twice back in July/August). Last night though, they played Frizzle Fry straight through and Jerry, Over The Falls, and Shake Hands With Beef for the encore. Insane show.
