Live with the band he was amazing, too slick for me on the recordings. I like Holland best with Sam Rivers and Braxton or on ARC.

Sounds cool. Loved seeing his quintet a couple years ago with Nate Smith on drums and Chris Potter playing sax. Great show!

I just listened to this cd a couple times-for the first time.
An enjoyable album, apart from the guitar which to my ear is absolutely terrible-I dislike the sounds, the tone,most of the playing and to my ear it's way too loud.
It doesn't happen often that I like nothing about someones performances on an album...
I hope that my initial opinion will change with time but from the outset there are a few players who'd I have much preferred, I think.
What a shame!
