privacy settings

OK, there's a good chance I'm just dumbing out on this, but...

I clicked _settings_ in my profile, chose the _privacy_ menu, unclicked everything there, and saved.

But my posts still have the _online now_ blob showing under my avatar. I'd like to just turn that thing off.

What am I doing wrong?

Do they? Are you online now? I don't see a blob indicating that or anything else. Are you sure it's not just showing you that you're currently online, cause it's not showing me that you are.

BTW - mine was already set to not display online status, but MY own avatar shows Me that I'm currently online, cause I am. I'm assuming it doesn't show YOU that I'm currently online, since the setting is turned off.

Seems like an odd feature. I mean, why do I need my TB avatar to tell me I'm on TB..? Erm, I really try to avoid drinking that much...

I guess the new forum software wants to make sure that you are aware of your online status, even if nobody else can be aware. Just looking out for ya!
