Yeah there's a black one on eBay I may snag if I don't have any luck finding a burst in the next couple days. Not interested in Gold but thank you anyway.
I feel bad because I was probably two seconds away from snagging one of these a few months back and then hesitated and didn't. And now I have major GAS for one and see they've been discontinued.
Can someone explain the build process on the Rockbass version? It has the same electronics but different frets and fretboard I know that, but are the parts made in Germany and then assembled in China or that just specific to the Korean models?
This guy would be a live bass so it wouldn't be the end of the world to go with the cheaper rockbass version and then maybe try and snag one of the actual German IIs as a Christmas or birthday gift to myself. Ideally I'd run across a burst 5er Pro though. Guess we'll see.
