You never really see this kind of branding on casual / work clothing. Imagine going into a suit shop and saying "do I get the normal tuxedo or the tuxedo pro"?

Mac'ing, clearly.
I'm with you in principal but I don't give much credit at all to labeling. I look at the specs and make the best decision I can.
The MacBook Pro. Pro at what?

I think we need to go back to having "Xtreme!" in all of products, from skateboards to nachos.

I'm somewhat indifferent on "pro" but I won't buy a car or truck with "sport" in the title. It usually just means some tacky body add-ons and stupid looking decals or paint job.

Munjibunga said:I buy only cars that have "Limited" on them because I don't want to drive just any old car that anyone can get. Also, when I drop my car off at the dealer for service, I make sure they give me the Corolla S for a loaner. I can't be seen in one of those cheesy LEs.
Also, wasn't there a Pinto "Sport"?

My mom has a "sport" level Jeep, it is the absolute base model. Kind of like how Windows Home Premium is the lowest level of the OS.
Heavy-duty is another one that gets annoying.
