For some reason, I can't plug the cord into my amp. Whenever I put the cord in, it pops back out. This is only in the passive input, the active works fine. I really need an answer quick because my band has practice tomorrow and a gig Saturday. It just started happening about 5 minutes ago. Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. The amp is a Fender Rumble 60

One of the metal tabs inside the jack is probably twisted. This sort of thing sometimes happens when a plug gets jammed in or pulled out at an angle. If you can unscrew the faceplate to access the inside of the jack, all you have to do is bend the tab back into place. Otherwise you're hosed.

I fixed the problem. I pulled the silver thing out with a screwdriver, and now it works fine.
