Problem with Electro-Harmonix

Late March, i bought a Bass Big Muff to use in some songs with one of my bands. About a week after using it, it fried. I took it to Guitar Center (where i bought it) and they gladly replaced it. I was playing on my new one about 2 weeks ago and then THAT one fried :bawl: The reviews of them are pretty good, so i was hoping it was just a bad batch.

I called guitar center, but they couldn't help me out. So I decided to call EHX. I left a message and no one has called me back. A couple days later i tried again, still no response. i wrote them an email and no one has responded to that either. Frankly, i am not happy with their customer service.

Has anyone else had any problems with their big muff frying or with EHX's customer service?

this reminds me of a joke about a guy driving in the wrong lane, and while listening to the radio news about a "madman driving in the wrong lane" and avoiding couple of crashes,he goes > phew...just one madman? seems to me there are a lot more of them...
my point> check your gear.you either have a bad power supply(i'm guessing non-regulated chinese piece of ****),or you have a short curciut somewhere....it' near to impossible to have BOTH of them fried like that.....must be the problem w/your gear...
off the top of my head,i would say power supply issue....cheers!

I replaced the nine volt and tried a couple different AC adapters. They finaly emailed me back. They said i could send it in with 12 dollars and a copy of the reciept and they'd fix it for me
