problem with new bassballs nano

I just got a bassballs nano in the mail today and am having an issue with it. Whenever I hold out a note and let the filter degrade over time, it gets to a certain threshold, then the filter just cuts out with a distorted "Whoosh", rather than a gentle returning back to the starting position. I hope that explanation makes sense, not really sure of a better way to put it. Anyway, I've already sent an email to ehx about it, but was wondering if anyone here had the same problem and if I should just plan on returning the product for a replacement asap. Thanks

I had the same problem as you mentioned while trying it out at the shop. Tried another unit and it was faultless.
