Problems posting

I'm trying to post a question about Ray Brown in the Double Bass>Bassists thread.

When I click "new thread" in the DB>Bassist thread it says:
"creativefire, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your account may be pending activation, if you have just registered please check your email for instructions.
2. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
3. If you're trying to post a CLASSIFIED AD, note that a Supporting Membership is required to do so."

Obviously I'm able to post here so I'm not sure what is happening.

I joined the forum a few weeks ago. Excuse me if there is something really obvious that I am doing.

That forum has had a mysterious bug in it for some time now. I just manually changed your permissions for that forum. Try it now.

I fixed a permissions error in that forum - should work now. Chris - see thread in the conference room..
