Problems with Boss TU3 Chromatic Tuner

Hi Guys,

So I recently purchased the Boss TU3 chromatic tuner and am having a strange problem that I'm hoping someone can help me with?

I may just be stupid but for some reason when I try and tune my E string down to D the tuner says it is done however it is actually tuning it to E flat....

Is it a setting I need to correct or is it faulty?

Do you possibly accidentally have the tone mode switched to 1/2 step flat?

Set the mode to "Chromatic" and drop the string to D and see what happens. If it actually tunes it to D flat, something is wrong.
