Problems with Chromes

I have a set strung on my MIA P-Bass Deluxe. I prefer to string them thru the body. However, the E string wasn't long enough so I ended up stringing that one thru the bridge. The other strings were perfect length.
I did order the long scale. Has anyone else found this to be a problem?

Thanks for the input.

Chromes are available in super long if that helps you? There long gauge is ideal for string through bridge 34 scale. The Ernie Ball flats are a tiny bit longer. Me I wouldn't string flats through the body and stress the string like that regardless of other opinions as after many many years of playing there's no audible difference of strings through the body or through the bridge.
