Problems with the Nano Doctor Q

Hello all,

I recently purchased a Nano Doctor Q envelope filter from Electro-Harmonix. For whatever reason, the wah effect is extremely weak; when I turn the Range knob clockwise, I get an ordinary bass note followed by a bizarre whooshing effect. Initially assuming the item to be defective, I received a replacement from Amazon, however I am still getting the same thing. I have wildly altered the knobs on my bass as well as the treble, midrange, and anything else you might think of on my amp, but I'm not getting any real difference.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

There's an internal trim control you can adjust. It would be nice if EHX would include that bit of knowledge in the instructions.

I see. So I'll have to take a screwdriver to it?

Yep. It's been years since I've messed with mine but I remember it making a big difference.
