We had shirts, mugs, beer cab coolers, bumper stickers, hats, Lapel pins, Beads, party favors. We had a basket of party favors and noise makers including blow up guitars for people to play air guitar, etc. We also had full jacket/vest patches. Tee shirts were great until every one we knew had one, then I was stuck with a whole box of art work. We started having contests to give tee's away. Then came the lapel pins, after a few runs we added thank a vet to the top and handed out a few thousand thru the years. Bumper stickers & coffee cups were also prizes. Bumper stickers where hand outs too.
I personally paid for all tee shirts and lapel pins until we started our own motorcycle run called Run With The Fools. The idea was that we set up then go on the run with our own bikes. At the end we had several volunteer bands that played. We would head line. It was a blast and got better and better every year to the point where it was a major pita to put on (insurance, guarantee deposit $$$ for a venue to close their doors to everyone but us, controlling run stops at multiple venues, etc). Anyway four of us put up the seed money to start which included tee shirts, lapel pins, posters and things like that. After that the run held it's own but the four of us burned out after four years of steady growth.
