PRON

That what I'm thinging. My first introduction to porn was at a grocery store as a 7 year old kid. It was like a bolt of lighting. I can't remember when after that, there was always a Playboy or Penthouse around, then later in the 80's there was Hustler and in the 90's the internet. I don't know if I can stop. I've tried to stop just to see if I can, but it hasn't been that easy. I'm married now and for me, I find that it doesn't really help me keep focused on my wife. That's just me.

Everyone either does or did at some point in their life. Is it easy to stop watching? Yes, unless you're an addict. Do I think it's unhealthy? No, again, unless you're an addict.

Is it the porn itself that you feel 'addicted' to, or the gratification? For me, its just a tool if Im in the mood and my lady isnt around. Back when I was single it was a bit more of a crutch for me.

Do you look at it? Do you not look at it? Why or why not? If you look at it do you think you could stop looking at it if you wanted to? Do you think it's unhealthy?

Yep. Cuz it's hawt. Stop permanently? With the help of a girlfriend, maybe, lol. I've gone without looking at it for months at a time here and there depending on my mood :smug:. And it's only unhealthy if it affects you and you're life negatively... or if you chaff :D

Good question. There is definitly satisfaction for the eyes. However, there is also a dope like feeling that I beleive may be addictive as well. We all know what the orgasm feels like. I find that I look at it even if I have a lady. Sometime I compare her to what I'm looking at, which as hot as she is to me, can't always compete.

Kwesi, you make me laugh. Thanks man! You are better at going without it than I. I can maybe go a wee or two tops.

Very unhealthy, it's not natural, and foranybody that says they watch it but are not addicted your probably lying. And if you think you can do without it as long as you have your girlfriend that's not much better.

It's a very bad addiction. Not to mention the abuse the women go through. I have a website that interviews ex pornstars somewhere around here.

I look at it when I feel the need to take matters into my own hands. As far as it being unhealthy, I don't think so. As Kwesi said, I find it's only unhealthy for you when it begins to negatively effect other aspects of your life.

I'm just starting to learn about a whole other side of the coin to this. Primarily, from one of my wifes friend, who is a liaison to the Salvation Army's Trafficing division. Apparently, viewing porn contributes to trafficking due to the demand. It's suck's because I don't want to create a demand but I really don't know how to stop. I've tried and although I can do it for a little while, I eventually go back to it.
