I need some advice to what extent do I tape my Jazz--where exactly, & is taping the back of the pg & the insides of chrome covers necessary? I have tape in my pickup cavities & control cavity. I've seen pickguards tape shielded before. Does that even matter

You wouldn't need to shield chrome covers but you would need to ground them in order for them act as shielding. If you want to do it without soldering just put copper foil over the screw holes so it pierces the shielding and connects it all.

I shield the cavities, pickup surrounds and pickguard. It all needs to be grounded/connected. In my experience, it does matter.

I intend to make my own tutorial this weekend. I have posted these instructions too many times.
