Proud of my Squiers!

I've been following this thread. I am a HUGE supporter of Squier. I'd love to get my hands on a Classic Vibe, or Vintage Modified series. It's really disappointing that "the headstock logo makes you a decent or terrible musician" I'm in full support of squiers. Coming from a RIC guy. Keep the pictures coming!

I wonder if it would be possible to make a Ric truss rod cover that says "Squire" on it instead of "Rickenbacker." I would buy one and use it, and it would make me very happy. Screwing up people's preconceived notions is great. Nobody but me would notice, though, since nobody notices the bass player. It would still make me happy.

I would buy it as well! It seems that the "brand" name decides how "good" you are of a player. I've heard some pretty professional guitar players playing great music on a Squier opposed to the snarks playing a Fender. Squier is dissed on WAY too much.

I have a few Squiers and have done this. 3 times in fact. Proud of them? No. But I like them better this way. Keeps the gear snobs at bay. Is my self esteem in question? Do I have an inferiority complex? Do I want to pawn it off as a real Fender? Yes to all of the above...
