Whale blue and Tiger Eye, both on quilt were always my favorite PRS finishes, but my favorite sounding models were always the Soapbar Special (bolt-on ash) and Hollowbody II with the LR Baggs piezo system. They should do the latter for a bass.

Love PRS basses! While the original ones from 1987 through 1991 are a bit quirky and a bit of an acquired taste, the current production Gary Grainger model just kills!

Here are my original ones. All are set necks.

I have a Kestrel made in Korea that has just been a really great instrument.

The Maryland stuff must be insane compared to the SE stuff.
