I ordered an Avatar B212 and B210 neos, both 8 ohms yesterday. I hope they hold up to the great reviews. I'm matching them with my fairly new LMII. Got away from the svt 4 pro after 9 years. Love the LMII much better even through an svt810. I will keep the 810 and use if needed, but I bought avatars for ease of transportation and the light weight and the bang for the buck. It's hard to buy something sight unseen and having never playing through. Hopefully I will be happy.

Congrats!!!! I would love to hear your thoughts.... particularly of the 212. How long until delivery after an order is placed?
It definitely will not sound like your Ampeg cab, so if youre immediate reacion is "***?" just give it a chance keep in mind what you're coming from. The Avatars sound great on their own terms, but if you're unconsciously comparing them, you might not like them.
These cabs have the rat fur covering so they have them in stock (not special order tolex) and they shipped yesterday, same day as ordered. The fed ex tracking says the 27th. We'll see with the Christmas rush. They only have to come from Idaho to So. Cal so it shouldn't take long.
yeah man, let us know, I'm thinking of going with that exact setup with and getting away from my epi ul310.
i ordered a cab wednesday december 17th and received it today Tuesday December 23rd, standard ground including a weather delay, pretty good service!
Don't know anything about the Bass Cabs from Avatar, but my husband (a lead guitarist) bought a 1x12 guitar cab to supplement his rig, and absolutely LOVES it...

My B410 NEO has served me well, and a former guitarist of mine also used an Avatar 212 cab. Previously, he used a Mesa combo amp, and he really dug his new THD/Avatar rig.
Ditto except mine are 8 ohms.
I had the 1x12 and 210 for awhile with my LMII. I returned the LMII and went with the Acoustic B200H and then B600H.
The 1x12 and 2x10 was a very nice bombine stacked together but I wanted to split them apart on stage so opted for 2 same type cabs.
No LMII bashing meant here.

I have an early SB112
I play a small/med room blues jam wiht it and it NEVER lets me down, and ALWAYS gets comments on the sound.
You will have a nice cab setup. I can't comment on how the LMII will drive it, but there is nothing wrong with that speaker configuration.

I have the Ampeg Hlf and am strongly debating an Avatar 410 in all white to add to my setup. How would you compare those two 410's? I play through an early 70's Ampeg V4B tube head and a Sunn concert bass head so I'm looking for a cab that can give me a ton of punch and low end with tight crisp highs. do you favor one cab over the other at all? Thanks

I think it really depends ont eh head you are using, bass and technique.....really.
I bought the HLF becaused I thought I was going to be a 5 stringer.......never could get it to take. Otherwise, I would have gotten the Avatar, and it would have been when they had the Kappa speakers available.
I have considered selling the HLF and buying a 2-12 and 2-10. That way I could use my 112 with it also, and the smaller boxes would be easier to move. that HLF is so deep, it can be pretty cumbersome.
You have to admit though, the HLF is a monster for sound! I think the 410 Avatar is a pretty substantial cab too. This is a really tough call.....
