You should be able to switch, but honestly, I think the tuning pegs are one of the most well reviewed hardware pieces of all the SX Basses. They are really some nice pegs.
Bringing a thread back from the dead completely. Well I finally was bored and I just got my new mic cable so I decided to post clips of the bass. Sorry if you cant hear me talking and if I sound nasally, Im sick. But the bass is louder since I was talking a couple feet away from the mic. Also Im just doodling, so let me know if its too busy and I can re-record it. Here it is:

Only question I have is-what strings are on there? Do you still have the stock strings on there or did you swap them out?

I'm curious, how about an six month review? Still happy with the bass? How about the pegs and pickups? Any issues?
I'm about to join the sx club, probably with some sort of short scale. It's like somebody said in another thread, you give up lattes for 30-45 days and get a new bass. Incredible and I'm anxious to see if they are as good as claimed.
