Pulling the trigger on a Mij precision fender

i was in SA last month and saw this natural finish white pickguard precision bass.

I've always been a fan of precision basses since my first gigging years were done on a precision.

(Side note the Ibanez roadster 2
Delivered equivalent five)

I never liked jazz basses until I returned to bass playing and began teaching a few students

For whatever reason the jazz was more comfortable as a teaching and learning device
Such as while doing simandl

So I see this bass and play it
And it literally swept the floor with every bass on the wall.

How do I know?
This young bass player began to play along with me and we went at all the basses there

Well most of them

No schecters and. No Yamahas

Not sure if it was the flat wounds

Or the age (80's)

But it was smooth and just the right amount of responsiveness

Lord knows I do not neee another bass.

But I only have one precision
A squier 2 with vintage 50's pups

I figured it would be good to have at least two precision's.

Anyway
I needed to vent

Price 799
Picking it up this week.
