punch and bite

Good day all, I'm lookinh for some pickups that will give me punch and bite on the high end. for a 5 string bass 34" scale lenght 24 frets... 19mm spacing... humbuckers.... thanks

soap bar sized humbuckers or music man sized? active or passive?

EMGs. The 40DCX if you want maximum bite, the 40CSX if you want bite that won't kill all the things.

Pair those with an Aguilar OBP-3 if you want a really aggressive preamp, or an EMG BQC System if you want a flexible/quiet/clean preamp to pair with the above two pickup types.
