Guys, please separate PUNK from PUNK ROCK. These are two different things.

Punk, it's a state of mind, a way of life.

Punk Rock, it's a style of music that was first initiated by punks, but it has become over time a genre by itself, that doesn't require to be a punk at heart to play it. Or even to listen to it. I like me some punk rock quite often, and I'm not a punk at all.

Use what you got, buying a Precision is just always a good idea for punk/country/rock/blues/etc. A lot of bands listen with their eyes if you know what I mean, but these guys already invited you in. I love my P for punk, but I'd play my Streamer at a punk gig if I felt like it.
