What are everyone's opinions on using purpleheart (with a couple 3/8" maple stringers) for a neck-through fretless 6? Rosewood fingerboard & Sapele body wings, if that influences.

Purpleheart neck for FL six?

I've used purpleheart in necks and it's lovely. The good thing about it is that it allows you to carve a lot thinner than you usually would and still get a strong stiff neck.
