if you've got some 1/4 - 1/8 adapters or cables lying around you should try running the bass thru the Aux In. the analog filter in it (taken from the vintage Korg MS-10 & MS-20 synths) sounds great.

i did that once after plugging it into my pedal board and i remeber i turned on my big muff and i kinda got a strange bit crushing sound. it was wicked

That looks pretty fragile. I would trip over that and break a plug off in the jack
